Heart Month Storytelling Campaign with Atrium Health

Pat Kiefer suffered a major cardiac event less than a year ago. He was rushed to Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, where he underwent emergency surgery to repair an aortic dissection. Through his experience, Pat was able to save his younger brother from suffering a potentially similar cardiac event, as the condition Pat suffered from can be identified through genetic testing.

We were proud to partner with Atrium Health to tell Pat’s story and highlight the Cupid’s Cup 5k to drive awareness and resources to heart patients.
